In specific scenarios following the closure of a resident’s booking and before finalising the booking, it may be necessary to adjust a Fee Payer’s Billable End Date. This date represents the final day that a Fee Payer contributes towards the resident’s care costs.

To support these cases, the Billable End Date can be amended either directly via the Fee Payers table or during the booking finalisation process.

Method 1: Adjusting via the fee payers table

Between the time a booking has ended and before it is finalised, you can update the Billable End Date directly from the Fee Payers table.

  1. Navigate to the Resident Profile
  2. Select the Billing tab
  3. Open the Fee Payers tab
  4. Locate the relevant Fee Payer
  5. Select the three-dot menu next to the Fee Payer and choose Edit Billable End Date
  6. Enter the updated Billable End Date
  7. Click Save Changes

Once saved, the Fee Payer’s billable end date will be adjusted accordingly.

Method 2: Adjusting during the finalisation process

If the booking is being finalised, you will also have the opportunity to update the Billable End Date for each Fee Payer.

The product will automatically pre-fill this field based on any pre-set rules, which you can override as needed.

  1. Navigate to the Resident Profile
  2. Select the Billing tab
  3. Click Finalise Booking
  4. For each Fee Payer:
  5. Select Finalise Fee Payer
  6. Review and update the Billable End Date as required
  7. Proceed with finalising the Fee Payer

Adjustments made at this stage will determine any overpayments made by the fee payer and offer the option to generate a credit note.
