Bookings ending automatically - Respite or Permanent (Billing module access)


Step 1 - Bookings that end automatically 


In cases where a resident booking has a fixed end date (e.g. a respite booking without a provisional end date, or a permanent booking that hasn’t been selected for long term), the resident booking will automatically close at midnight on the day the fixed end date is set.


Following the closure of the booking, the Move Out Date and the Contract End Date will be defined as the same and the closure reason will automatically be set to “Move Out - Stay Completed”.


The resident's room will then become available for re-occupancy, allowing you to move another resident into the room.


Step 2 - Finalise the booking


Following the automatic closure of the booking, a user with the necessary permissions will need to finalise the booking. Follow the onscreen instructions within the resident profile to finalise the booking.
